Artist's Comments

I made this costume as a challenge to myself over the course of the years 2002 and 2003. The character is Prince Xizor, from the multimedia story Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire.

The entire suit, mask and spine is from scratch. My mini gallery of progress and and appearance images can be viewed here; Prince Xizor's Skyhook.

I have uploaded this relatively older image today to share with other artists who have rendered the Dark Prince.

I LOVE XIZOR. He's possibly my favourite character from any of the Star Wars publications. This is AMAZING. I love the mask and spine - my friend Matthew would give his soul to look like a Falleen haha. I am so impressed with this... </raving fangirl>
